Kilgore youth football upcoming dates

Boys enrolled in Kilgore’s youth football program, as a part of the Tri-County Football League, have a few important dates to remember.

On Monday, equipment and uniform sizing sessions begin at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium on Harris Street. Five and six year olds (flag football) will be fitted between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and seven and eight year olds will be from 6:30 until 7:30. On Tuesday, sessions will resume, this time with nine and 10 year olds sized between 5 and 6, and 11 and 12 year olds between 6:30 and 7:30.

Parents and guardians are asked to come on time, but during their child’s session.

Practice for the season begins on Monday, July 26, and there will be a league pep rally on Aug. 14. Coaches will be reaching out to parents this upcoming week. To keep up closely with Kilgore’s youth football, watch their Facebook page, Kilgore YouthFootball (the Facebook page is written with “YouthFootball” as one word).
