KHS girls first, boys second at 16-3A cross-country meet

Members of the Kilgore High School boys and girls cross-country teams (left, in this combined photo) competed in the District 16-4A meet on Tuesday in Gilmer, moved up a day due to testing. Coach Heidi Hagan's Lady Bulldogs won the district title; coach Phillip Lane's varsity boys finished second, and the boys' junior varsity won their JV division. The girls and boys will both be going to the regional meet at Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie on Oct. 22.
