Memorial services for Carol Ann Cooley, 70 of Kilgore will be held at 12pm Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Living Word Church in Kilgore with Brother Lee Bryan officiating. Carol joined the Lord in peace Friday, May 10th at Arbor Grace Living surrounded by family and loved ones.

Carol was born June 23, 1948 in Henderson TX to the parents of Jewel Rube and Louise Barker. She was raised in Houston TX and Chugwater, Wyoming before moving back to East TX to finish high school and beauty school.  She enjoyed fishing, dancing, the boats, and spending time with family. She lived a full life, blessed with 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren and a very a loving partner. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by husband of 9 years Loy Wayne Smith Sr., husband of 28 years Troy Eugene Cooley Sr., children Troy Cooley Jr. and Lisa Smith, grandson Brynnan Victery, and brother Tommy Barker.

Carol survived by her partner of 11 years Carl Dean, children Attecia (Tc) Smith (wife Hope), Wayne Smith Jr (partner Patricia Gibson), grandchildren Jessica Caldemeyer (husband Rick), Stormi Splawn, Summer Cooley (wife Jasmine), Amber Rae, Joshua Smith, Dilyn Cooley (wife Catie), Mackie Grisham (partner Andrew), Cherish Smith, 11 great grandchildren, a lifelong best friend Sheree Mason and numerous other family and friends.
