A 54-year-old woman from the Kilgore area has been missing since Monday evening, and the week closed with no new information available on her disappearance.

The Gregg County Sheriff’s Office announced the missing person investigation on Wednesday after Rosemary Rodriguez’s disappearance was reported Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The sheriff’s office describes Rodriguez as a white woman, approximately 5-feet, 4-inches tall who weighs about 185 pounds. The 54-year-old was wearing a blue Walmart smock and blue pants when she was last seen.

According to GCSO, that was about 6:45 p.m. Monday (Oct. 7) as she left a residence in the Mt. Pisgah Road area of Kilgore. Rodriguez drives a green 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, license plate GCM3117. There is an OU sticker on the back window.

The sheriff’s office spokesman, Lt. Josh Tubb, had no further information to share Friday afternoon. Since Rodriguez’s disappearance, the basic details of the missing person case have been posted on flyers throughout town.

“I don’t have any new information that I can release,” Tubb said.

Anyone with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts is asked to contact GCSO Capt. Craig Harrington at 903-236-8400.
