President, Sally Melton opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Reo Calender gave the prayer for the meeting and the meal.

Debbie Moore, Secretary read minutes from last meeting. No corrections approved as read.

Gloria Kennedy, Treasurer, gave the treasury report. It was approved for audit.

New Officers were installed for 2019. Nita Collier – President, Reo Calender – Vice President, Merlean Thompson – Secretary and Gloria Kennedy - Treasurer

Entertainment for this meeting was Sue Clements and Charlotte Gossage singing. Some of the songs they sang were Tennessee Waltz, Sweet Dreams, I Believe, I Miss You Darling and Honky Tonk Angels.

Brisket and sausage was served for lunch with other side dishes and desserts.

Some members stay after the meeting to play dominoes and/or Mexican train. Everyone is welcome to play.

We are always looking for new members. Dues are $3.00 per year.

Everyone 55 and over is welcome to attend our meetings and enjoy the fellowship and entertainment. Our next meeting will be February 13, 2019 at the Lions Club building, 307 N Rusk St. We begin at 11:15 with a short business meeting then enjoy either bingo or guest entertainment at 11:30. Dinner is at 12:00.
