With the Christmas holidays quickly approaching, several Kilgore ISD campuses have giving opportunities available to help students and their families who are in need this year.

Kilgore Primary School has its KPS Angel Tree up and ready for anyone who wishes to volunteer to select an angel and purchase the items requested. Gifts will be picked up by families the week of Dec. 13.

Kilgore Middle School is continuing its tradition of the KMS Bulldog Tree. Those interested in participating will select a Bulldog from the tree, purchase the selected items and return them wrapped to the middle school by Dec. 14. Also, Kilgore High School is inviting volunteers to “Bless A Bulldog” this holiday season.

Volunteers may select one or more Bulldog Paws from the front window of KHS, purchase those requested items and return them wrapped to the school by Dec. 13.

This is an excellent opportunity for Kilgore community members to be a part of helping the students of KISD who otherwise would not have gifts at Christmas. Chandler Elementary and Kilgore Intermediate School are also participating with the Kilgore Lions Club in a canned food drive beginning next week.

To participate in one of these opportunities, volunteers may contact the individual school campus or email Leah Gorman at lgorman@kisd.org.
