Join in as Kilgore pays tribute this Memorial Day with a ceremony at the Veterans Monument at Harris Street Park,100 S. Harris St., on Monday, May 29 at 9 a.m. Guest speakers include Shannon Pickard, pastor at Revive Church in Longview and KHS graduate, along with U.S. Navy Veteran Mark Garrison, who will recite “The Ragged Old Flag.” Patriotic songs will be provided by Bob Stoner and the Friends from Forest Home Baptist Church group, along with final soloist Mitzi Hartfiel. Bring your lawn chairs.
