The Kilgore Police Department welcomes its newest officer, Ben Boles. Boles had been working for the Upshur County Sheriff's Office. He has one course to complete before he graduates from LeTourneau University. He has a few law enforcement courses to obtain in the next few days, KPD said, and then he and another officer enter into a two week pre-service academy. Pictured is Chief Hunter administering the Oath of Office and Assistant Chief Gage presenting Boles with his new badge.
