Kilgore ISD Superintendent Dr. Andy Baker has extended district campus closures through April 10, according to a recent social media post:

“Hello Bulldog Community! In compliance with Gregg County’s and the City of Kilgore’s determination to order a mandatory shelter-in-place for our Bulldog Community, Kilgore ISD is extending our current COVID-19 public health-related school closure for all our students and community members through Friday, April 10th. This shelter-in-place order will not change or interrupt KISD’s current and ongoing services to provide meals to our Bulldog Community children and to provide at-home instructional services for our students. Please know that we sincerely appreciate the support and patience our Bulldog Community has shown our teachers and campuses thus far as we all work together to get through these challenging times. Kilgore ISD plans to release an updated video update tomorrow, Friday, March 27. KILGORE PROUD!”
