Kilgore businesses are staying open during the coronavirus – and some are going out of their way to help during this strange and different time for our country by altering their service.
Many restaurants have drive-thrus, popular chains like Whataburger, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Burger King, Chicken Express, Taco Bueno, Sonic Drive-In, Schlotzky’s, Panda Express, and Wendy’s, and also hometown favorites and locally-owned restaurants like The Back Porch, Bodacious Barbecue, Charburger Stockade, the Fillin’ Station, Johnny Ozark’s Fried Chicken, Meme D’s, and the Burrito Shop.
Some restaurants haven't changed their format and are still offering regular service at the customer's discretion. Others may not be offering dine-in service right now, due to regulations of their own, but all are open for take-out through the drive-thru windows, or some by bringing out food to cars.
Contact each individual restaurant to find out what they offer, even if they're not listed here, or check their Facebook pages or websites for updates.
