Artist Jack Delaney is hosting an art show at Kilgore College's Ann Dean Turk Fine Arts Center now through Oct. 10. Open to the public, "The Worlds Within" show features paintings, drawings and prints by Delaney. The "Socially Distanced Edition" of the gallery show is open now in the ADT building at the KC campus, across Henderson Blvd. from the main campus, next to the crosswalk. The artworks can be viewed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
About Jack Delaney:
Jack Delaney is an artist from Houston who is currently focused in painting and printmaking. He has exhibited his work regionally and nationally, both in solo and group exhibitions across the United States. His solo exhibitions include Memory and Mythos (Marshall Visual Art Center, Marshall) and Mythopictura (Third Space Gallery, Houston). Recent juried exhibitions include Rosenzweig 2019 Juried Exhibition (Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, Pine Bluff, Ark.) and BAMSA Biannual Art Show (Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, University of Houston). He has work in numerous private collections across the United States. Delaney obtained his BFA in Studio Art at Sam Houston State University and is currently working towards his MFA in painting at the University of Houston.
