Looking for something to do? Kilgore College students have you covered: The school is hosting three upcoming events, including a comedic play, an art show and a dance concert.
‘The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon’
KC Theatre will present ‘The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon’ April 29 to May 2 in the Van Cliburn Auditorium.
“The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as five actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil’s Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands,” Kilgore College said in a press release.
Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday April 29 through Saturday, May 1, with a matinee performance 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May. 2. The college said the play is appropriate for all ages, but children 7 years or younger will not be allowed. COVID-19 protocols will also be followed, including mandatory face coverings.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.kilgore.tix.com or by calling (903) 983-8126. The performance will also be available for remote viewing starting May 1 at that same site. The box office will open one hour before each show, with discounted tickets available for groups of 10 or more.
