Kilgore Public Library plans Kids Hobby Fair

The Kilgore Public Library will host a Kids Hobby Fair for those aged 5-17 beginning April 5.

Students who want to participate are asked to bring displays of scientific experiments, arts and crafts, collecting, sports or performing arts. Participants will be entered into weekly prize drawings.

The start date to bring displays is April 5, with the deadline to stop bringing displays April 9 at 4 p.m. Pick up displays April 26-30. Items that are not picked up will be considered a donation.

Displays should be creative, not wider than 22 inches and not contain anything that is special or valuable to the entrant. Do not bring food items; the library says to take a picture instead.
