East Texans hopped on motorcycles and buckled into their vehicles Saturday afternoon to offer their happy birthday wishes to a Kilgore man.

Dalton Rickman turned 30 and dozens of locals turned up to make his day much more special.

“There were almost 50 cars and motorcycles that came by for Dalton today,” said Carol Hagan.

In addition to a personal parade, Dalton also received gifts, a card signed by all his well-wishers and even got to strap into the passenger seat of some souped-up vehicles.

The celebration doesn’t stop on Saturday for Dalton.

“Tomorrow there are a few people that are going to take him to the River Run mud park,” Hagan said.
