Village Bakery employee Tasha Olson, center, takes cakes to the trash cakes from the store's refrigerator on Thursday, June 25, 2020 in preparation for a professional cleaning after an employee at the bakery tested posted for the coronavirus. Owner Denise Neal said Village Bakery plans on giving a full refund for customers who paid for any baked goods for this weekend. All employees have been tested for COVID-19. “We are trying to do the right thing and keep the community safe,” Neal said. The bakery has been a staple in Tyler for over 70 years.
