The Rusk County Victims and Survivors Against Violent Crimes will host its annual Tree of Angels ceremony Dec. 7.
The ceremony is held each year at the Rusk County Justice Center in Henderson to honor and remember the victims of violent crimes and their families.
In addition to victims and survivors of violent crime, families missing loved ones are also welcome to join the ceremony. Each person will have the opportunity to place an ornament on the Tree of Angels to honor their loved ones.
“Together we will remember,” the organizers say.
The ceremony will include prayer, music and presentations from county officials. A reception also will follow the ceremony.
The ceremony is open to the public to attend, and extra ornaments will be available at the door.
