World-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes are rehearsing in the Big Apple for a holiday performance.

On Thursday, the 'Rettes will perform in the opening number of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After arriving in NYC Sunday, the drill team viewed live performances during their stay. On Tuesday, they visited Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Spectacular and on Wednesday, they stopped by the August Wilson Theater for a Broadway performance of “Mean Girls.”

After a final rehearsal, the Rangerettes will be featured in Macy's parade, televised nationally on NBC.

Macy's parade has featured the Rangerettes many times before, going back to their first performance there in 1967.
