Graveside services for Linda Williams Lovelady, 76, of Palestine, formerly of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 27, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Terry Evans officiating. Mrs. Lovelady completed her earthly journey on Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Crockett.
Linda was born February 2, 1942 in Longview to Sam and Elsie Williams. Linda enjoyed playing cards, traveling to see family and being with her family is what made her happiest. She had a love for Alaska and enjoyed the time that she there and always said that Alaska was her favorite place to be.
Mrs. Lovelady worked at Brown, Bronstadt, Habenicht and Rosson for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Palestine.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy “Rusty” Russell and wife Jennifer of Kilgore, Melissa Russell Evans and husband Terry of Palestine; grandchildren, Zachary Russell of Tyler, Brannon Russell of Kilgore, Tate Evans of Palestine and Barry Evans of Palestine, as well as many other loving family and friends. Also, left to carry her legacy are friends and other loving family members.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Curtis Lovelady.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Community Care of Crockett For their loving and compassionate care of Linda during the final days of her earthly journey.
