KILGORE SENIOR CITIZENS club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in the Lions Club Building at 307 Rusk St. All seniors 55 or older are eligible for membership.

THURSDAY

THE PRIMETIMERS, a senior adult choir of First Baptist Church of Kilgore, invites any senior adult who wants to sing Christian songs and enjoy fellowship, to join them on Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. in the choir room, located at the back of the churcha. FRIDAY

FIRST PENTECOSTAL CHURCH will have a Holiday Food Fest on Friday, Nov. 17 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. (or until sold out). Serving will begin at 11 a.m. Food includes choice of vegetable beef soup or chicken dumplings with tea, salad and dessert for $8 (dine in or take out). Frozen entrees include beef or chicken enchiladas, cornbread dressing and chicken spaghetti. The church is located at 516 Fritz Swanson Rd., Kilgore.

HOLY PRAYER APOSTOLIC CHURCH is having a Thanksgiving Plate Lunch Sale on Friday, Nov. 17, beginning at 11 a.m. Plates are $10. Menu includes chicken and dressing, ham and turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, candy yams, and dinner roll, plus a selection of desserts.
