Teresa Prien is the next featured presenter at BOOK TALK, set for noon on Jan. 17 at the McMillan Memorial Library in Overton. She will discuss the Texas Bluebonnet Award Program, sponsored by the Texas Library Association. This unique program encourages reading for pleasure! Although aimed at students in grades three to six, many of the books that win awards will please younger or older, even adult, readers. Mrs. Prien will talk about the selection process and display some of the books. She will read or summarize several of the popular choices.
