Memorial services for Carolyn Ann Knighten-Dunn, 68, of Longview were held Friday, July 6, at New Birth Fellowship Church with Rev. Eric Love as eulogist. Arrangements were under the direction of Victory Funeral Services.
Carolyn was born to Johnny B. Richardson and Eloise Fisher Martin in Longview on Saturday, January 28, 1950 and died Monday, July 2, 2018 at her residence in Longview.
At the time of her death she was a member of New Birth Fellowship Church in Kilgore.
Carolyn attended public schools in San Pedro, Calif., and graduated high school in Guam in 1968. Later after completing beauty school she worked for 25 years as a cosmetologist and also worked at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview.
She had previously been married to Harold Harris, Glinden Knighten Sr. and currently to Charlie Dunn.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Ennis Wilson.
She remains in the hearts of her beloved father, Johnny B. Richardson of Longview; sister, Deborah Nalls and her husband James of Longview; her brothers, Jermaine Wilson of Bellflower, Calif., and Billy John Richardson and his wife Gail of Longview; her children, Yoranda N. Said of Shreveport, La., Oran C. Halcromb Jr., Devone V. Harris and Eloise Knighten of Longview, and Glinden Knighten Jr. of Crystal Beach; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is also survived by her husband, Charlie Dunn Sr. and step-children Charlie Jr., Zach, Jennifer, Christian, Merial, Candice, La’Shun, Crystal, Romonda, Charlyne, Danita and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
