Bradley Dean Wild

Bradley Dean Wild, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack B Honea, passed away on December 29, 2017 in Midland.

Brad and his mother were visiting his younger brother at his home in Midland for the Thanksgiving holidays when he became seriously ill and was hospitalized.

Brad graduated from Kilgore High School in 1967. He later received his master’s in psychology from the University of Texas in San Antonio where he worked at Methodist Hospital as a counselor for drug and alcohol abuse.

Brad is survived by his mother, Charlotte Honea; his sister, Jacqueline Wilson of Traverse City, Mich.; his brother, Baron Honea of Midland; his uncle and aunt, Perry and Sandi Combest of Denton; his two nieces, Emily Roberts of Midland and Katie Swanson of Oklahoma City, Okla., and his great-niece, Avery Roberts (4), who explained to her mom “don’t worry, Uncle Brad has an angle body now.”

Bradley will be cremated in Midland and there will be a memorial in Kilgore at a later date.

A special thanks from the family to all the classmates that sent encouraging words and prayers to Brad. Thank you Virgil and Jerry for your help and thank you Larry and Harry for being a special part of Brad’s life.
