Billy Ray Reddic


Funeral services for Billy Ray Reddic, 73, of Kilgore will be held Saturday, March 10, at Post Oak Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry L. Washington serving as eulogist. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held one hour prior to services at Post Oak Baptist Church.

Mr. Billy Ray Reddic was born on September 9, 1944 to the late Jesse Reddic and Lettie B. Conway. He died Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

He was a member of Macedonia in Tincup. In 1972, he became an employee for P & H Construction for 15 years. He later went to work for Ricky Daniel’s Cement Construction where he then retired.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Reddic; brothers, Willie Otis Sanders, Eddie Lewis “Grasshopper” Sanders, and a son, Randy Reddic.

Billy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda “Glen Ann” Reddic of Kilgore; mother, Lettie B. Conway of Kilgore; three daughters, Jessica Davis (Lee) of Kilgore, Jennifer Powe (Alan) of Princeton, Texas, and Sonya Redic of Dallas; three sons, Billy Reno Redic of Longview, Brant Lacy (Carmen) of Desoto, and Alfred Lacy of Houston; one brother, John Conway of Kilgore; five sisters, Dearlyn Conway, Bonnie McGill (Randle), Linda Ware (Jason) and Christy Belcher (James), all of Kilgore, and Vicky Conway (Curtis) of Crowley; two sisters-in-law, Doris Owens of McKinney and Mary Sanders of Kilgore; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
