City narrows search for new manager

With the application period now closed, Kilgore’s search for a new city manager took another step forward Tuesday night as council members got their first look at the candidate pool. Meeting behind closed doors with Ron Holifield of Strategic Government Resources, the council reviewed more than 60 applicants after press time last night.
