Local charity plans to offer holiday assistance to 500 families in 2010

LONGVIEW – Buckner International hopes to serve more than 500 Northeast Texas families through holiday assistance this year. “Though it may seem a bit early to be thinking about Christmas, we want families to know that Buckner is here to help,” said David Ummel, administrator for Buckner in Northeast Texas.
