West Rusk Elementary students, grade pre-kindergarten through fifth, will have a chance to view their classrooms for the upcoming year and meet their new teachers on Aug. 20 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students are invited to bring their supplies at this time. The first day of school for the 2010-2011 school year is Aug. 23.
