Summer street project to make school dropoff zones safer

Hard work on city street projects is paying off around the city. Families bringing their children back to school at Chandler Elementary, Kilgore Intermediate and Maude Laird Middle School on August 23 will be greeted by safer intersections in a road project that’s ahead of schedule and looking good, said Kilgore street superintendent Tim Hobbs.
