LAST WEDNESDAY EVENING, as I was traveling through town to head towards home, I came face-to-face with fire trucks and rescue units setting up to battle a fire at Maness Furniture Store. The scene resembled that of Overton’s fire a couple of years ago where Peanut Butter Emporium and half the block was destroyed.
