Kilgore City Hall will be closed for the holiday Monday, July 5. But that doesn't;t mean the city shuts down. The city pool will be open all weekend, said B.J. Owen, director of city services. The police and fire departments did not get the holiday, and will be staffed as usual, as will the water plant, said assistant finance director Lawanna Williams
