In spite of heavy rainfall this week, Kilgore Police Department officials did not report any road closings or unusual increases in weather related accidents. “Anytime it rains, we typically see an increase in traffic accidents just because of the weather. So it was a little unusual not to have many,” Lt. Roman Roberson, spokesman for KPD, said.
