Main Street hosts tour of downtown art deco
Stream-lined designs, intricate brick patterns and a whole lot of tile - all elements of a period of early twentieth century architecture known as “art deco.” Main Street Manager Fallon Burns led a group of kilgoreites around the city Wednesday morning to show how art deco architecture played an important role in the design of early Kilgore.
