Honoring those who have paid the ultimate price. We should never forget those who have sacrificed so that we enjoy the freedom of America! This is a reminder that freedom is not free...it is bought with a price! We in East Texas are extremely fortunate to have the quality of people that serve and sacrifice for us on a daily basis. Louie Gohmert is not your prototypical politician. He is true to his convictions...and bold enough to state them in the House Of Representatives in our Nations Capital. If you were fortunate enough to hear Representative Gohmerts speech last night (Live) at about 10:30 PM CST before the House...you just got a taste of what he is all about, what he stands for. I grew up in Mt. Pleasant Texas with Louie. He was one year older than me and was one of my older cousins, Paul Heimer's closest friends. If you have an interest in the future of our Country...and I know you do, you will find the archived version of Louie's speech last night. It will stir your spirit and give you a greater appreciation of the person who represents us in our nation’s capital. Louie hasn't changed much from his adolescence. He is truly a one of a kind. Today more than ever we should all be interested and active in the political affairs of our Local, State and National agendas. I truly believe that Louie Gohmert is a future President of the United States.
