As a Marine Wife and a friend

As a Marine Wife and a friend of 3/1 Weapons Company, I have to say I am so proud of service men and women and so thankful to those who make the ultimate sacrifice! May the Lord bring peace to Sgt. May's family and friends during this trying time! OORAH!

I was one of the PGR members

I was one of the PGR members who was in the procession to escort Sgt. May's back to Kilgore. I don't think I have ever been so proud to be an American or a Texan as I was yesterday. From the time we left the airport parking lot until we arrived at the funeral home, there were people lined up all along the highway, to show their respect and gratitude for Sgt. May and his family. Flags of every size were being held or posted in yards, hands over hearts and salutes being made. In spite of all the bad going on, even in our own back yards, it just goes to show there are people who care.
