City honors fallen hometown hero

Hometown tributes are planned as the body of Sgt. Kenneth May Jr. is brought home to Kilgore on Wednesday. The Marine, a 2002 Kilgore High School graduate, was killed by an exploding IED (improvised explosive device) on May 11 while on foot patrol in Afghanistan’s Helmand province.
