Kilgoreite Kenneth May killed in Afghanistan

Family and friends are mourning the loss of Kenneth May, Jr., a U.S. Marine who was killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday. A Kilgore High School and Kilgore College graduate, May was stationed in Pendleton, Ca.

We are deeply saddened at the

We are deeply saddened at the death of Kenny. He was a friend of our daughter Sunni...Actually they were band beau and sweetheart together. She said that when they talked that they shared their love for Jesus. Karen and Kenneth, I am so sorry for your loss. I am so thankful that Kenny chose to defend our country. I applaud and honor his bravery. God's blessings and comfort on both of the families. Thank you for the unselfish service Seargent May. RIP Gene and Kay Miles

Dear Karen and Family, I'm so very sorry to hear of Kenny's death. He was a very brave young man who did what he believed in and we are all thankful for young men who choose to serve their country in such a couregous way. Please believe that Kenny will not be forgotten by those who knew and loved him. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I hope that you will find some comfort in knowing that others greive with you for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the May family. Karen and the garden club were very nice to my daughter and her 2 children when her husband was overseas in the army. My prayers go out to the family and friends of Sergeant May. My son-in-law is in Afghanistan serving and is also based out of Camp Pendleton. I can't tell you how my heart hurts for you all. Thank you Sergeant May for serving our country. One of our many heros! You will not be forgotten!
