Kilgore native trains fire fighters for the military

GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE — Most boys dream of being a fireman at some point in their young lives. The hat, the truck, the noise, the excitement, the danger. It all adds up to the ultimate job full of adventure and heroics. For those boys and girls who grow up still wanting to fulfill those dreams, they can thank the son of a Longview man and Kilgore woman for turning them into reality.
