County cash controls get even tighter
The Enron scandal’s still trickling down as public agencies in Texas tighten fraud controls, and Gregg County’s getting even more specific about safeguarding public funds.
County auditor Laurie Woloszyn presented detailed guidelines for handling cash and assets to Gregg County commissioners Monday.
