Linda, thanks to the power of the internet, I was able to publish this to my Facebook page; therefore, all my friends, family and acquaintances got smacked in the face with my proudness without seeming to brag. Thank you so much for publishing this - Pearce, as an 11-year-old boy and way too cool to admit any kind of emotion, was surprisingly happy, enthusiastic, and proud to see his work in the newspaper.
