The Mike Vallery era, which included 14 playoff trips in 15 seasons and a UIL Class 4A state championship, is coming to an end.

Val touched more than just

Val touched more than just the athletic department at KISD, he touched the lives of his coaches, players and everyone in the community. He is leaving the program better than when he arrived. He is a very special man to me and my family, because of what he did for my two sons. I will never forget him and am proud to call him my friend.
