In response to the person

In response to the person that posted on the other baseball article. We do not wish to be dragged into this long debate and ugly comments. You do not know Chris Gossage very well, if you think he would post anything online. If he has something to say, rest assure, he will tell you to your face. He has not, nor has he ever, posted anything on the Kilgore News site. Obviously, you think he has some pinned up frustrations about Donny. I can assure you, Chris doesn't hold his feelings in, if Donny or anyone else does something that offends Chris, he will tell them personally, you will not hear it in some anonymous form. We are not in some way holding on to the past problems we have had with him or anyone else. As a matter of fact, our son has more character, work ethic, and drive to succeed, because of what he went through in KBBA. We have always been by our son's side, to encourage him to not settle and to give 100%. It's the difficult times that you go through that make you who you are. The difficult times can break you, or in our son's case, make you stronger and better. We are EXTREMELY proud of our son for never giving up,and for working hard. We have been through alot and have learned alot. We don't care whose at the games, all we want to do is enjoy our son's senior year of baseball.

Janna...Very well said. I

Janna...Very well said. I know for a fact what you sad about Chris is the way he handles his business, and I respect that in him. It is very unfortunate that someone decided to drag him in this. I guess they thought that while everyone from Coach Blackstone to myself, current players and former players were being bashed...they would just see who else they could stir up hate and discontent with. You should be very proud of Ty and what he has been able to accomplish and yes you were right on when you said that you want them to be able to enjoy every minute of their Senior season. It will be a very profound moment when, after watching them play since they were old enough to hold a bat, they walk off of the field for the final time. Anyone who thinks baseball is just a game doesn't understand the relationships and bonds that are forged with parents, players, coaches, friends and families. I will continue to attend games and cheer/yell at the players and even an occasional umpire. I try to have as much fun as I can at the ballpark, in between running back and forth to the restroom. I hope all of the bashing is over...distrct play starts tonight. I will continue to support the Dogs even if it hairlips the Pope... or whomever the other detractors are. "GO BULLDOGS"
