A 56-year-old Kilgore man, Archie Dale Jones, is dead of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a domestic disturbance over the weekend.

I think this story is in very bad taste. This is someones family and they have to deal with the loss of a loved one, whatever the cause may be. As someone who has lost many loved ones this is never easy. I think you should think before you write about something that will cause such pain to this gentlemans friends and family. I understand "news", but come on......

TO ME THIS IS PERSONAL AND SHOULD HAVE NOT EVER MADE IT TO THE NEWSPAPER. AS A PERSON WHO LOST A SIBLING TO SUICIDE THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE ANYONE'S BUSINESS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY CAN'T EVEN REPORT THE STORY CORRECTLY. THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THIS PERSON HAVE ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH WITHOUT HAVING THE ADDED STRESS OF INCORRECT INFORMATION BEING PUBLISHED IN THE NEWSPAPER.

This whole story is a complete lie EXCEPT for the deceased's name, address where it happened, and the fact that he committed suicide and had threatened it for a long time. Other than that, this paper needs to get their facts straight before publishing such a false story.
