Art students make greeting cards for soldiers

Alpha Delta Rho, a service organization composed of Kilgore school teachers, sends “care packages” to soldiers in Afghanistan as often as possible. Donna Mathis, art teacher at Maude Laird Middle School, found a way to turn that project into a calligraphy lesson for her class of seventh and eighth students.
