Main Street board faces many issues for downtown

History-friendly neon signs, maybe. Plywood overlay occupying major space on the façade of a historic downtown building, maybe not. Signage was one of a number of issues discussed at Thursday night’s Main Street advisory board meeting as members grappled with just how detailed design guidelines should be for the Main Street Overlay Zoning District.
