Book on New London disaster being written
Almost three-quarters of a century later, the tragic explosion at the New London school still echoes for David Brown.
The Pittsburgh, Pa. journalist and author is working on a book about the 1937 disaster that devastated the rural Rusk County community.
Brown first became intrigued by the story of the New London disaster in 1987 when he lived in rural Rusk County.
