KC mourns the loss of a past president

Kilgore College will go dark to honor past president Bert E. Woodruff
Bert E. Woodruff, the sixth president of Kilgore College, died Saturday at age 85 after a lengthy illness. Woodruff served Kilgore College more than 40 years as an instructor of business, business manager and as president of the college from 1989-93. The college campus will close at 2 p.m. Friday to honor its former president.
