KFC murder conviction upheld on appeal

Darnell Hartsfield is still guilty of the Kilgore KFC murders. His conviction was upheld Thursday by the Texas Sixth Court of Appeals. In Oct. 2008 Hartsfield was convicted in the 1983 murder of five people. The victims were taken from a Kentucky Fried chicken restaurant here in 1983 and shot on an oil field road in Rusk County.
