Oil Industry’s economic decline appears to slow

The deterioration of the Texas oil and gas industry’s economic health, as measured by the Texas Petro Index (TPI), continued to slow in November, suggesting the 13-month decline could be nearing an end, possibly as early as firsthalf 2010.
