Justice of the Peace Wolverton seeks re-election

Jerdy Wolverton, Rusk County Justice of the Peace since 2000, announced Tuesday that he has filed for re-election. Wolverton was a Kilgore police officer for 18 years, serving as patrol officer, crime prevention and juvenile officer, investigator, public information officer and detective. He was appointed J.P. in 2000; he was elected in 2002 and re-elected in 2008.
