The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting and testing motivated individuals to work in local communities across the state of Texas for the 2010 Census. Eventually the Census Bureau will hire 2,000 people for the Longview office and about 84,000 statewide. Most of the temporary positions will last from two to six weeks. Pay will range from $8 to $24 per hour.
