Dan Quincy Cook, 72, died at home Nov. 12, 2009, in Birmingham, Ala. Mr. Cook worked for more than 40 years as a civil engineer. He is preceded in death by his father, James Daniel Cook; his mother, Myrtle Agnes Crow Cook; and a brother, Jim Cook.
